At the age of 50, my mother had been married for the third time for four years. She had moved to Utah from Nebraska for her husband’s job. She was working for Intel. Every football Saturday she would go to a bar that had been given permission to hold football parties and serve alcohol. My mother never misses a Husker football game. She enjoyed yearly visits from her grand children.
